Everyone will agree that the latest figures the DGE unveiled, shows just how important New York is to the lucrative sports betting (SB) industry of New Jersey. In fact, according to Draftkings main competitor FanDuel. Around 22% of the bets they accept are from New Yorkers who go the extra mile to place their bets in Hoboken.

So far, it seems that SB tourism mostly affects Draftkings and FanDuel. But the latest partnership between Draftkings and the Madison Square Garden (MSG) means that Draftkings is firmly claiming its stake on New York. And they hope to win the heart of New Yorkers who visit Hoboken from time to time.

All and all, signing with MSG means that the DFS operator will get “premier brand integration across MSG’s assets”. And this translates into getting their logo on the Knicks court apron. But Draftkings will also get exposure on the penalty box and the Rangers team bench too.
