Hard Rock to host September parade featuring Miss America contestants

For anyone who hasn’t seen America’s Show Us Your Shoes parade last June. Fear not, because the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino has you covered with more entertainment.
Indeed, the upcoming Celebrate America Parade will be more than enough to fill the void. The parade will span a route that is almost 1.4 miles starting at Metropolitan Avenue and ending at Arkansas Avenue. Spectators often bring American flags, chairs, and blankets to watch the parade which the whole family can enjoy. What’s more, it’s completely free of charge.

Heroes come in all forms

Hard Rock casino is a long-time supporter of the cause and couldn’t be more thrilled about it.
“We couldn’t be more proud to show our support to the men and women who serve our country by coming together with the community to present a parade appreciating our nation’s heroes,” said Joe Lupo, president of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City.
He also added that “A hero can be in many forms, and our goal with this parade is to be inclusive to all of those who serve, protect and honor our country every day, and we’re happy to celebrate them during this parade.”

From all over the US

In essence, people from all over the country are coming to watch the parade but also joining in. Miss America 2020 contestants from Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania will ride in the parade.
What’s more Miss America 1984 Suzette Charles will be the parade’s grand marshal. With her singing and skills in entertainment, it’ll be a blast. The show will be 90 minutes in total and will be honoring heroes in a very patriotic way. 16ft cold-air balloons never before seen on the Boardwalk will rise in honor of American heroes.
