New home for Unibet
Now, here comes the interesting question. Where is Unibet going to call home? This specific detail did not come during the quarterly presentation. In fact, there is no shortage of potential casinos that may want to team up with a top-tier European operator like Unibet. Although, we can’t confirm any candidate as of now. We can still extrapolate and point out that Kindred group has good knowledge of U.S integration. Especially since its brainchild Kambi recently inked a deal with DraftKings group, as you know.
The Plan to expand even more
When Kindred group get the ball in motion, it takes some time before it settles in. In fact, Tjärnström, kindred’s group CEO hinted they would cast a wider net that will extend beyond New Jersey’s borders. “Our working hypothesis right now is when sports become available. We would see it as a big benefit if we could go with the Unibet brand. Albeit we fully appreciate that it’s unknown in the US market, but it has worked well in Europe, and we believe it could work well in the US as well.”
