Tri-State Poker goes live, and there’s more value up for grabs than ever! It’s official, Tri-State Poker is now up and running! In fact, it went live on May 1st, one day ahead of schedule. According to players and operators, the multi-state tournaments went live without a glitch! Additionally, some sites have even noted a slight increase in traffic. Which is, of course, an excellent news and a testament to the teams who worked endlessly to test the software.
Now, as predicted, many online poker sites are running qualifier for the WSOP main event, that will take place at the Rio (Las Vegas) in June.
WSOP creates online exclusive events!
There’s no doubt that there’s a lot of buzz around the WSOP. But of course, not everyone can make it to Vegas this summer. For this reason, the WSOP is hosting a series of online tournaments. So, if you’re a poker enthusiast and can’t make it, don’t worry, you can still win a bracelet online!
Currently, the WSOP has announced four exclusive tournaments which experts believe will generate a lot of interest.
The tournaments are:
- The first tournament will take place on June 3rd, and it’s a No-Limit Texas Hold’em tourney where the buy-in will cost you $365.
- The second tournament is a Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) 6-Handed, and it’ll take place on June 22. The buy-in for this event will cost players $565
- The third event is, again a No-Limit Hold’em tourney and it’ll start on June 29th, and the buy-in is $1,000.
- Last but not least is the high roller No-Limit Hold’em event on June 30th. The buy-in will cost players $3,200. Which is, of course, a lot more accessible than the offline high roller event where players have to pay $100,000 to sit at the table with the elite.
Additionally, it’s worth knowing that the tournaments don’t have a cap on the number of players. So the prize pool may reach millions in some cases, and it’ll feel like Christmas day if you manage to win a share of it.
