It’s sometimes hard to keep track of everything related to the casino industry, do you agree? Last week the press reported three short news that you’ve probably missed. 92 property sold at auction.

On March 28th the Max Spann Real Estate house and The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) sold 92 properties. Indeed, the CRDA pocketed $574,000 (excluding auction fees) last Wednesday after selling 23 packages. It’s worth knowing that the packages sold at the auction included both developable land and nonconforming lots. Overall, 16 packages of 84 lots of developable land and 7 packages or 8 nonconforming lots found themselves, new owners. As always, the CRDA will use the profits from the auction to develop new projects all over the city. Also, it’s worth adding that last December the CRDA held a similar auction and made $1.6 million.tropicana casino

A Truck crashed into the Tropicana casino.

On April 1st at around 6 PM, a man crashed into the Tropicana Casino on West Riverside Drive. Fortunately, it was only a minor accident. Apparently, the driver lost control of his green pick up truck after a problem with the steering wheel. Since the press reported the news, the Tropicana, of course, cleaned up the scene and have not commented on the events.

Hard Rock opens a seek peak to the public.

On April 2nd, the Hard Rock Casino gave a sneak peak of its new casino to the resident of AC. Indeed, in case you’ve missed the news the Hard Rock has opened a preview center next to the Tanger Outlets. The preview center mainly includes rock memorabilia from Bon Jovi, Elvis, and Mariah Carey to name a few. In the short news, the Hard Rock commented: “ it’s just our way to get everyone excited about our grand opening day next summer.”
