On March 28th the Max Spann Real Estate house and The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) sold 92 properties. Indeed, the CRDA pocketed $574,000 (excluding auction fees) last Wednesday after selling 23 packages. It’s worth knowing that the packages sold at the auction included both developable land and nonconforming lots. Overall, 16 packages of 84 lots of developable land and 7 packages or 8 nonconforming lots found themselves, new owners. As always, the CRDA will use the profits from the auction to develop new projects all over the city. Also, it’s worth adding that last December the CRDA held a similar auction and made $1.6 million.

On April 1st at around 6 PM, a man crashed into the Tropicana Casino on West Riverside Drive. Fortunately, it was only a minor accident. Apparently, the driver lost control of his green pick up truck after a problem with the steering wheel. Since the press reported the news, the Tropicana, of course, cleaned up the scene and have not commented on the events.
