PlayMGM is getting a facelift and a new name. Indeed, the new betting app currently available in New Jersey is now known as BetMGM. The main reason behind the new look and name change is the introduction of GVC Holding’s sportsbook platform and the birth of a new company, Roar Digital.
In essence, Roar Digital is the collective name for the joint venture between MGM Resorts, and GVC Holdings.
To sum up, Roar Digital will serve as the mobile hub platform for any future expansions within the Garden State. But what does this mean for you as a customer, and what will come out of the revamp? Let’s find out…
All that you want
The new and improved BetMGM app allows customers to play all the original casino games previously available on PlayMGM. But BetMGM has a couple more tricks up its sleeve, including the addition of Poker.
However, the most exciting news to come out of this deal is undoubtedly the accessibility of college and professional sports bet. In fact, the new betting range includes more sports than ever such as, NHL, NBA, MLS, and MLB.
Adam Greenblatt, CEO of Roar Digital, shared his thoughts on the new app.
“We’re happy to give our customers bigger and bolder opportunities to enjoy the games and the unique experiences that BetMGM will provide as the professional and collegiate football seasons get underway. We believe our product takes in-game entertainment to the next level.”
Even more updates
Naturally, the most evident updates to BetMGM is the new product it offers. But Roar Digital has also done a lot of work in the background. And essential work if we may add. Work that will keep the users’ journey more streamlined. The new feature includes real-time bet tracking, cash-out function in a one wallet system. Which means that the money available in a players account is usable on all product verticals.
These substantial improvements may well give the company an edge over its competitors. After all, as iGaming grows, so does the demands for robust mobile application. And BetMGM can sure rival the best mobile applications on the market thanks to these updates.
