Paddy Power Betfair and GAN continue to collaborate

It’s official. Two major players are taking New Jersey by storm! Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) is a gambling giant. It’s one of the world’s largest Internet sports betting and gaming operators in the world. What’s more, it has approved an extension of its iGaming deal with GAN. Together, they continue to provide platforms for NJ’s growing market.Paddy Power Betfair and GAN continue to collaborate

A brief history of the partnership

The two companies first worked together in 2004. Later on, in 2013, they collaborated on Betfair casino. Overall, this is a website that relies on GAN’s iGaming system and associated services. Together they set up an Internet casino in New Jersey, with of course the help of the Golden Nugget Casino.

Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN comments:

“We’re privileged to renew and extend our agreement with Paddy Power Betfair in the United States… Our respective teams have performed well over an extended period to establish BetfairCasino.com…” It has become the leading independent Internet casino in New Jersey.

Kip Levin, CEO of Betfair USA agrees:

Betfair Casino offers a unique iGaming product experience for customers in NJ. The extension of this agreement is a reflection of GAN’s flexible technology system.” It also shows their can-do attitude and commitment.

Both partners are in expansion

This news arrived after another GAN announcement. GAN signed a multi-year agreement with Goldbet too. This is an Internet sports betting and casino gaming operator in Italy. As a matter of fact, GAN now works with eight Italian clients. And if we look at the gross gaming revenue, this is more than 40% of Italy’s casino iGaming market.

Likewise, PPB noted a rise of 19% in operating profits not long ago. This is after their big merger and a loss in market share. Yet Peter Jackson, CEO at PPB, said it’s now time to spend money. What’s more, Jackson added that PPB plans to launch new betting products and apps for this year’s World Cup. The World Cup kicks off in June. And we’re really hoping Sportsbook will be legal on time so that we can take advantage of their new app in NJ!
