Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort Casino will offer fantasy sports on its premises. Indeed, the new deal with the startup brings just that to the table. And so, the recently reopened New Jersey casino will add an extra service to its sportsbook. But what’s more, the deal also covers for the casino’s iGaming operations. Which means FastFantasy sport will soon be available online thanks to this deal!
The game developer sees a huge opportunity here! In fact, they believe their product is very much like sports betting. For that reason, they hope it will attract the attention of punters that recently started visiting the casino’s sportsbook. Additionally, they also hope that those visitors can then turn into online players. So that they can enjoy the experience even after they left the casino.
Joe Brennan, the company’s CEO, underlined its ability and readiness to bridge betting and fantasy games. “In the next years, states will try to hit critical mass with sports betting. In the meantime, we can legally create a large, engaged base of players,” he said. Which means that SportAD’s strategy is to build market share ahead of its competitors. Later, this share would be available for their commercial partners.
Ever more popular
FastFantasy is very much like other daily fantasy games. Usually, two players match up in a head-to-head duel over real sports events. They pick four to ten match-ups for a fee of $1 to $20. The results of the sports events then determine the points each player accumulates. The startup from Washington DC launched FastFantasy in the Garden State back in 2017, through a deal with the online operation of Resorts Casino.
Resorts Digital, the online branch, just recently signed a deal with DraftKings, which is, another DFS operator. The game is currently legal and running in 40 states across the country. So make sure to visit Ocean Resort to try it once it goes live! It’s very popular, and if you’re a sports fan, there’s a good chance you’ll like the format!
