Inspired hires Brooks Pierce as new Senior VP

Well-suited for the job

The new member of the team has almost three decades of experience in the gaming industry. Before he joined Inspired, Pierce was Managing Director of Aristocrat Technology’s Americas Group. Aristocrat is a leading gaming supplier. What’s more, Pierce led a division worth $700 million. Before that, he worked several years at Scientific Games as President of North American Gaming. He was also Chief Revenue Officer for SG’s WMS Gaming Group. Lorne Weil, Executive Chairman of Inspired, says he has known Pierce for over 25 years. They have worked together for much of that time. Weil talks about his new colleague. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be invaluable to Inspired as we seek to build upon our successes in the North American market.”

Getting to know Inspired

In 2002, the company was a tech startup. It had 10 people working in central London. Today, Inspired is a major games technology company with 800 employees throughout the world. Overall, it supplies systems and terminals. It does so for Virtual Sports, Mobile and Server Based Gaming. It also does digital content for regulated lottery, betting and gaming operators around the world.

Inspired CEO comments on the new recruit and his long-term vision for the company.

Luke Alvarez is President and CEO of the company. He says he’s delighted to welcome Brooks to the Inspired executive team. “Inspired’s Virtual Sports are already licensed and live in New Jersey and Nevada and will be going live with the Michigan Lottery soon. We look forward to announcing new US deals and to the launch of 1st Down Football later in the year.” Moreover, Alvarez says Pierce will play a key role.
