Ocean Resort Casino (ORC), set to open in Atlantic City this summer, is joining forces with the Hyatt chain. According to a joint news release, Ocean Resort will become part of Hyatt’s luxury hotels group. It’s worth knowing that The Unbound Collection (UC) includes many beautiful hotels. In fact, some of them are famous worldwide, like the one in Paris.

Launched in 2016, the UC currently has six upscale hotels. The latest addition is the ex Revel Casino. It’s worth knowing that it has 1,399-rooms. Plus it also has a casino, meetings and conventions space and an outdoor area for special events. Also, they have Swimming pools, nightclubs, and even offer gastronomic dining. Moreover, the 60-story building will become the tallest in Atlantic City.
Ocean Resort Casino delighted with this agreement.
Following the news, Bruce Deifik commented. “It is an honor for us to join forces with one of the world’s most renowned hotel brands: Hyatt. Hyatt has an incredible 60-plus-year legacy in the hospitality industry. Its loyal global customer base will have access to all that makes AC attractive and popular.”
OCR will gain a competitive edge over other casinos since Hyatt website will promote it. Plus, they’ll attract many customers who want to earn or use loyalty points during their stay. It’s worth knowing that Hyatt will also supply the reservation system. Also, they’ll provide spa and fitness center thanks to their Exhale brand.
In the same press release, Hyatt also commented on the agreement.
David Tarr, sr VP for Hyatt said. “We’re happy to be teaming up with ORC and our UC brand. We’re delighted to introduce a new Hyatt to AC, which is one of the most visited casino destinations. ”
Now, if only we knew when OCR was opening and when their online casino website is going live! Who know’s, hopefully they’ll soon announce their opening date and maybe even before the Hard Rock.
