Harrah’s Casino getting in shape for next summer!
If you’ve been downtown lately, there’s a good chance you’ve noticed the massive crane right by Harrah’s Casino! In fact, only days ago their parent company, Caesars said they’re continuing to invest money in the hotel. And they’re renovating even more guest-rooms and suites!

Perhaps the casino is feeling the pressure to freshen up after the opening of 2 new casinos last summer. Or maybe they’re looking for ways to attract new guest since they’re off the boardwalk.
After all, having new rooms with fantastic ocean views will surely attract new guests! And yet, the improvement to the Conference Center may mean Harrah’s will be a prime spot for eSports players too!
The grand plan
But, it wouldn’t be fair to say that only the opening of the new casinos drove Caesars efforts to improve the hotel. Caesars invested just over $250 million into its Atlantic City resorts over the last 4 years. And Harrah’s is only one of the many beneficiaries.
All and all, the latest investment of $56 million will guarantee that the 507 suites and rooms of the Coastal Tower are perfect for business-minded travellers. In fact, Harrah’s and Caesars said that the new rooms would be in line with the resort’s Bayview rooms. And to achieve their vision, they’ve partnered up with a local design company, MPM Studios. The renovation starts early 2019. Harrah’s also said they’d progressively offer new rooms as the renovation progress.
Big names with big money!
It’s always exciting to know that Atlantic City is attracting serious investors! Even Gordon Ramsay seems to think that Atlantic City is a place worth putting money in since he recently opened a steakhouse at Harrah’s. Gordon Ramsay Steak is the first to open in the tri-state region. And undoubtedly it’s likely to see even more guest once the new rooms are complete by summer 2019.
