Hard Rock proudly announces the continuation of its partnership with The Mercury Phoenix Trust. Which, is a UK charity in Memory of Freddie Mercury. Created by Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor, funds will go toward supporting the global fight against HIV/AIDS. Also, this includes a series of events that’ll take place from June until December 2019.
Fulfilling the Commitment
According to Hard Rock, Mercury’s passion for music and his ability to connect with people are all in line with the company’s core beliefs. Indeed, the brand’s mottos are love all, serve all, take time to be kind, and Save the Planet. Based on those views, Hard Rock said it’s an honour to live up to its commitment. And to serve all people through this important alliance. To keep it going, Hard Rock will donate a portion of its sales from any Mercury merchandise to the trust. In addition, the company’s VP of eCommerce said, “Our new stock collection is inspired by Mercury and provides a unique opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ equality and awareness.”
Supporting the Cause
As a loyal partner, Hard Rock holds an annual Freddie for a Day celebration. Which, all profits go toward the Trust. However, this year, the company will extend the event and call it Freddie for a Week. Fundraising will begin in September and will take place at all Hard Rock locations worldwide. So to show your support, you can always visit ShopHardRock to find the perfect gift to show your love. Finally, Queen’s manager Jim Beach had this to say, “Hard Rock’s ongoing support of the trust mission has been invaluable. In fact, we cherish our partnership that continues to strengthen year after year between their brand and our foundation.” Also, keep in mind, June is Pride month, so it’s the perfect time to show your colours.
