Golden Nugget closes a popular in-house destination

One of the most famous nightclubs in Atlantic City, Haven, is closing its doors at the end of July. For those who are not familiar with the notorious club well maybe you’ll remember that this place headlined the news across America in November 2018. Still not sure?

Well, let us refresh your memory. Haven is where Mayor Frank Gilliam Jr. and Councilman Jeffree Fauntleroy settled some differences in a brawl that made the headlines. But what’s going to happen to the landmark club now and the tickets you may hold?

July 28th Last chance

Although it might be the last month for the club, the party keeps on going. As for now, they are keeping the pre-book schedule. So if you already booked tickets to any of the shows you’ve not wasted your money. Plus, as this is Atlantic City, the farewell party could be off the hook. However, the official words don’t mention if the last day ends with July 27th show or if there will be a special last day celebration.Golden Nugget closes a popular in-house destination

Commenting on the sudden change is Tom Pohlman, SVP and GM of Golden Nugget. “We are incredibly thankful to our customers and team members who have made Haven a thriving nightlife venue since opening in 2013. We value our employees, their dedication to our company and are working to place them in current open positions.”

Lips are sealed

The question on everyone’s mind is… If the nightclub was flourishing after six years of operation, why is the Golden Nugget closing it? Well, your guess is as good as ours. And the only thing we know is that a new venue with “unique amenity” will replace it.

As you can imagine, the expectations are sky-high for the new business. While many are speculating on the reason why Haven closed. We cannot dismiss the idea that the Golden Nugget may have found something that was missing to their Casino in New Jersey. And that the prime real estate of Haven could be crucial for a more profitable venture.
