It’s a big day for Slingo fans! First of all, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) agreed on a deal to share content with Gaming Realms (GR). It’s worth knowing that GR develops mobile real-money and social games. In fact, they’re the ones responsible for the popular Slingo series that you’ll find in online casinos like PlaySugar House and the Golden Nugget.
Under the three year deal, it gives non-exclusive, worldwide rights for GiG to use Slingo Originals products. This GR content will appear on GiG’s full-service platform. In essence, this includes their seven casino brands. It also includes their white label online gaming products.
What is Slingo?
Slingo is a combination of slots and bingo. The game saw the day in 1994 and today many variations exist. As a result, we have titles like Slingo Riches, Slingo Extreme, and Slingo XXX Treme, to name a few.
A good deal for both parties
Patrick Southon, CEO of Gaming Realms, said:
“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Gaming Innovation Group. Given its scale across the iGaming industry, this partnership provides us with a significant opportunity to extend our Slingo content across new markets.”
Similarly, Mathias Larsson, Managing Director of GiG, feels good about this deal too.
He said: “The unique selection of games is the perfect fit to complement our extensive offering…we look forward to continuing to offer such creative and innovative content.”
Slingo content at Hard Rock Atlantic City?
Until now, Slingo games were mainly available on Golden Nugget, and it’s white labels.
Yet, it’s important to know that GiG is the platform provider of the upcoming Hard Rock online gambling site. Does this mean that Hard Rock will offer Slingo games too? If so, Hard Rock seems ready to compete against the market leader. In brief, we’ll have to wait for the site to go live to find out.
