If you remember last week, we reported that EG bought its only rival Ezugi (Golden Nugget). And now, the company makes the headline again with a deal involving, the Kindred Group! Indeed, according to reports, an agreement is now on its way to New Jersey. So, let’s look at it!
The Game Plan
First it’s important to know that EG and Kindred have been partners for a while. In fact, Unibet already offers EG live casino games across Europe. But now, Kindred will have access to EG’s new gaming studio in Atlantic City. In other words, they’ll use EG’s studio to offer Unibet live casino in New Jersey.
According to the head of gaming, Cristiano Blanco of Kindred, “Unibet is already a strong brand in Europe. And now that Evolution has its own studio, we look forward to working together again to grow the Unibet brand in New Jersey.”
On that note, it looks like we’ll see Unibet Casino go live soon in NJ. At this time there’s no official word as to when a launch will take place, but it’s expected to be sometime in early 2019.
EG Going Forward
James Stern expressed excitement about the deal in a recent press release. And yet, what stood out the most in EG’s director statement is the company’s long-term vision.
Stern said, “Over the next 12 months, we’re going to highlight our ability to deliver the best casino experience in New Jersey. Not to mention, we still have additional partners that will go live. So within a year, we’ll be offering a huge range of games in the Garden State, via our many partners’ site, including Unibet.”
With that said, it looks as if this is only the beginning for EG. So we can expect more surprises in 2019. Including the launch of a new sports book by Unibet!
