Devils looking to see $5 million from legal sports betting in New Jersey
Devils looking to see $5 million from legal sports betting in New Jersey. With the NHL season opener yesterday, all bets are on the table! In fact, the Devils are now looking to see at least $5 Million in profits from all those bets! This is due to the fact that the Devils are in a state that allows legal sports betting. Recently they’ve entered a partnership with local sportsbooks operators in New Jersey to establish a home team advantage.
Although there is no official word on what bookie they’ve chosen. We only know they made it clear on what they expect to see this year. Also, the word on the street is, many operators are now starting to reach out to the Devils. So it looks like they’ll have no problem finding a sportsbook or casino to partner up with this year!
Several opportunities available
Being the only hockey club in New Jersey, the Devils are in total control of the puck and the ice! In fact, the Devils president, Hugh Weber, made it clear that his team has the upper hand here.
Recently, he said, “We’ll see somewhere in the neighbourhood of $5 million! And this will all come from various marketing partnerships.” So as you can see, many operators are showing their interest. And in return, the Devils are showing their interest in entering “several” partnerships.
As we look forward to a new season in Newark, one can only be hopeful that the Devils have a great year!
In fact, William Hill is now offering a 40/1 odds that the Devils will win the Stanley Cup this season! So as the team looks to engage with more fans this year, this could be a real attraction here! Even though the Devils haven’t won the cup since 2003! So it’s about time again!
