Caesars Announces the Launch of a Permanent Sportsbook

As Caesars Entertainment gears up for one of the most significant sales of the century, having a permanent sportsbook in place at all three of their Atlantic City properties is a must. With that said, both Harrah’s and Bally’s are rapidly preparing to open their official Boardwalk sportsbook. Which, is now in the final stages of construction. In fact, development is moving so fast; Caesars confidently said that the debut should take place within the next couple of weeks.

The Forever Changing Landscape

According to sources, Caesars invested more than $11 Million into building two sports betting sites at both locations mentioned above. Since last summer, Harrah’s and Bally’s has been operating from a temporary setup inside the property. So well before summer arrives, everything should be up and running smoothly.

Harrah’s plans to open its doors in late May. As for Bally’s, they’re planning for an early June grand opening. However, Caesars still won’t feature a brick-and-mortar sportsbook, leaving them the last property in AC to go without. Luckily, Caesars and Bally’s are connecting facilities. So players who visit the casino won’t have to walk too far to drop a bet on all their favourite picks of the week.Caesars Announces the Launch of a Permanent Sportsbook

Competitive Nature

The truth is, anything involving sports or sports betting is extremely competitive, especially in New Jersey. Therefore, this move by Caesars is likely to be a game changer as the bar just got a lot higher. After several years of demanding legal sports betting in the Garden State, Caesars now plans to give their customers something that no other NJ sportsbook can rival with.

In terms of size, Caesars Regional President Kevin Ortzman said that the new book at Bally’s would be the largest in the state. Not to mention, it will also have five fan caves that’ll give bettors a more personalized game-viewing experience. For starters, it’ll include a self-serving beer wall with 16 taps and 100 leather recliners. So as soon as we get word of the official launch, we’ll let you know about it right away.
