Top live casino provider, Evolution Gaming, has signed a deal with BetMGM. This is a US-wide deal that will see Evolution Gaming provide live casino titles for all of BetMGM’s US brands.
To start with, the deal will mean that BetMGM will have access to a large number of Evolution Gaming’s live casino games. Plus, they’ll also be able to distribute TV show-style live dealer games. Furthermore, BetMGM’s sister brands, Party Casino and Borgata Casino will get access to the games from Evolution’s New Jersey live casino studio. So, BetMGM will now be able to add these games to their existing catalog. Other games come from Ezugi, which has been part of Evolution Gaming since the start of 2019 after an acquisition involving the Golden Nugget Casino.

Leading the way
The VP of Gaming at BetMGM, Matthew Sunderland, spoke highly of the deal. He said that GVC Holdings and MGM International formed BetMGM “to lead sports betting and online gaming in the United States”. So, because of Evolution’s reputation as the leader and innovator for live casino products, it is the perfect partner. Furthermore, Sunderland said that Evolution can offer them everything they need to provide “a world-class online live gaming experience”. What’s more, they are heading in the same direction as BetMGM when it comes to US expansion.
The CEO of Evolution Gaming, Johan Nordstrom, said that they are “honored” to be working with BetMGM in the “fast-developing US live gaming market”. BetMGM is the joint venture between MGM Resorts and GVC Holdings. As such, this is the natural extension to the relationship other brands owned by the group already have.
BetMGM is a New Jersey company. It came about in 2018 to provide world-class sports betting service in New Jersey. It has grown from strength and is now one of the leading US sports betting brands. But with a new product vertical such as live casino, they’ll undeniably deepen their footprint and attract more patrons too.
